Are you still waiting for your circumstances to change before you’ll allow yourself to be happy? Most of us have preconceived ideas of what would make us happy, and we refuse to be satisfied until those things happen.
When life places obstacles in our path, when things seem like they’re breaking down and we grow weary of the struggle, it’s a good time to step back and look for the gift.
Your purpose is to do that which is most aligned with who you are, and uses your natural talents and abilities to their fullest extent. Only you can say what that is exactly, and you may not have the foggiest clue right now.
I choose to look on the bright side as often as I can. Why? Because it makes me feel happier. And that is why I write so much about positive thinking, optimism, and the other motivational topics I cover. I want you to feel happier too.
Look around you. What have your thoughts created? Can you see a connection between your attitude in the past, and your circumstances today?
You can still change it. It’s never too late for an attitude shift.
